CFSF participates in symposium on implications of privatization on public assets and utilities

On 13 December 2024 CFSF Executive Director, Comrade Sani Baba was part of a panel on People Power Versus Corporate Takeover of Public Assets at a symposium on the socio-economic and political impact of privatization of public assets which held at the Elomaz Hotel, Maryland, Lagos.
Comrade Sani Baba addressed the topic – Mobilizing international support for campaign against water privatization. A protest march demanding the reversal of Nigeria’s electricity sector privatization was also part of the event.
The meeting was organized by the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) and the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) with support from DGB Bildungs Werk and Public Services International (PSI).
